laofu canvas is provided by Fuyera Intelligence Limited. This notice describes data handling in this version of the app.
Data handled by the app
laofu canvas does not require an account. The app has no network functionality that automatically uploads canvas content, identity information, contact details, usage records or diagnostics to us or third parties. It contains no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.
To restore your canvas, the app stores structured strokes and shapes, input fields such as positions and pressure, event times, tool changes and edits, display identifiers and version information in its local sandbox container. It also generates a random local identifier to associate local sessions. This is not a hardware serial number and is not uploaded by the app. Toolbar position and shortcut preferences are also stored locally.
The app writes performance markers to macOS local diagnostic facilities, such as drawing duration, input type, point counts and operation results. The app does not automatically upload these markers. Diagnostic and service data handled by macOS, the App Store or TestFlight is governed by the relevant system settings and Apple’s policies.
Screen content and permissions
Basic drawing in this version does not read the underlying app’s page content or continuously capture the screen. Screenshot entry points are disabled in this version. Core functionality does not require Screen Recording, camera, microphone, contacts or network permissions.
The app saves the canvas in its own sandbox container. This version has no screenshot or file export entry point, does not ask you to choose an external save location, and does not automatically write to your documents folder.
Retention and removal
Local event data is used to reconstruct the saved canvas. Clear empties the visible canvas but does not delete the underlying event history. Although Undo and Redo history cannot be used after a restart, related events may remain in the local database.
To remove all local app data, quit the app and remove its sandbox container. Deleting only the app may leave the container behind. Removing the container removes the local canvas and preferences; manage copies in system backups separately. See the Support page for the location and instructions. The app has no account or cloud data deletion process.
When you contact support
If you email us, your email service sends the address, message and attachments you choose to provide. These are not automatically collected by the app. Please avoid sending unnecessary private information. This notice does not replace the separate data handling notices of email services or websites.
