Laofu Browser is a local browser assistant. With your authorization, it lets AI read pages, click controls, fill forms, and collect information. When a task needs a login, verification, or your decision, you can take over.
A local service, browser extension, and web console work together. Use a separate browser or connect an existing Chrome session. The console keeps task progress, results, and requests for human input in one place.
From browser actions to useful results
- Read page text, inspect page structure, take screenshots, and interact with common controls.
- Save visible article text and images as Markdown, HTML, and ZIP, with missing content clearly identified.
- Keep multi-step tasks and their status so you can inspect, take over, or resume them.
- Connect through MCP, an HTTP API, TypeScript and Python SDKs, or the CLI.
Current availability
The public release is a developer preview for Apple Silicon Macs. The package is not yet signed or notarized, and the extension is not in the Chrome Web Store. Follow the release instructions to install it. Windows, Linux desktop, and server deployments are not currently verified targets.
Results depend on site access, page loading, and website restrictions. Collection does not guarantee a complete archive.
